Programs: Brent's place in aurora, colorado supports pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients and their families during lengthy treatments for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Brent's place is the only children's hospital colorado approved safe-clean housing facility for these patients and their families. The facility strives to promote healing and recovery thru extensive family support and an environment designed and maintained to minimize the risk of infection. Brent's place provides housing and support programs to all of our families throughout their stay. In 2017, we served 179 patients and, with the addition of another building, provided over 11,200 room nights, and 800 support programs and activities to patients and families in need. See schedule o for continuation. Brent eley center (the "center") owns the brent's place facility, comprised of land and two adjacent buildings ("founder's house and "tanner's house"). Founder's house opened in february 2009 and tanner's house opened in june 2017. Rent is paid by the brent eley foundation to the center for use of the facilities.
