Mission: The Boston GreenSpace Alliance is a coalition of organizations and individuals dedicated to connecting people to parks. Incorporated in 1985, the Alliance was formed in response to a period of decline in Boston's park and open space system. During the past fifteen years the organization has served as the City's open space voice drawing together leaders of Boston's public agencies, community groups, businesses and foundations to develop programs and projects to enhance quality of life in the city. Through advocacy and education the Alliance ensures the improvement and expansion of Boston's greenspaces.
