Programs: Bogus basin is a recreational area that operates to enrich the lives of treasure valley residents by providing year-round outdoor activities at rates that are affordable to a significant part of the community. Bogus basin had 340,000 winter visits at an average admission cost per visit of only $23. 75, a rate significantly lower than similar ski areas. Bogus basin offers nordic skiing, tubing, and snow shoeing during the winter and had over 360,000 total visits during the fiscal year. Bogus basin continues to work on providing affordable summer recreation including youth summer camps, all-age mountain biking and hiking, star gazing, and nature experiences with forest service rangers as guides. All are offered at affordable rates.
