BodyParts Senior Fitness is an excellent senior fitness class! I enjoy the Line Dance classes on Mondays! I had an opportunity to attend the Line Dance classes at the Calumet location, too. Dr. C's fitness classes are truly beneficial to my ongoing health and well-being. Thank you, Pamela C.
The BSF Program has been a truly positive experience for me. Dr C and Maddie B are inspiring & supportive in their respective approach to teaching classes. They make it both enjoyable and effective!
Body Parts Senior Fitness has become an integral part of my everyday routine. Since it meets in the morning, I start my day exercising with it. The warming up exercises that begin the classes and the following exercises make me limber and do wonders for my physical and psychological health. They make me feel positive about myself and help to create a positive outlook on my life and life in general. I feel much more able to cope with whatever I have to face or have to deal with. My doctors have been very impressed with my continuing good health and attribute it in large part to this physical exercise program.
The instructors are excellent, cheerful, encouraging and great motivators.
The TAI-CHI class is awesome! Dr. Brantley is a fabulous instructor. I would absolutely recommend the class for seniors regardless of their present fitness level.
I have participated in aerobic classes led by Bodyparts fitness at U of C as well as online and find both to be exceptional.
I have been attending the Community Fitness Program classes for a few years. The classes are a God Send. I look forward to the classes every week. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun. I appreciate that the classes provide a full body workout. My body has changed since I started these classes. I am more flexible, my posture has improved, and my energy level has greatly improved. I am so happy to be a part of the Community Fitness Program Family.
Being apart of Dr. C’s Wed and Friday morning cardio/strength training and Thursday Tai Chi classes have been a wonderful experience.
Dr. C and Lionel (Friday zoom class instructor) are wonderful instructors. They caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The classes are engaging, fun, and effective.
They provide modifications to meet most levels expertise.

Where to begin? I cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Dr. C. For nearly 20 years, I have not only gained insight to health and wellness and dedicated care to our seniors in the communities, I have gained a sister and dear friend. Under Dr. C.’s effective program, I taught adults the importance of wellness and maintaining a healthy body, mind and spirit. This organization is a blessing to us. I am so proud to be a part of the wellness family!
When Dr. C reached out over a year ago, looking for sponsors, I knew my mother would love the concept. I wasn't wrong!! The love and consideration shown for our seniors by BSF is unmatched. I have enjoyed every time I am able to come and participate. And Maddy, the line dance instructor, I just LOOOOVE her. This has become a lifelong partnership and fellowship! Dr. C and her husband Rob, are now apart of our family!
I've learned so much from Dr. C. I always wanted to try strength training but wasn't sure how to do it without joining a gym. Dr C took the time to teach us how to use the resistance bands and how to create a routine at home to increase our strength. She is so patient and answered every question and made site we were doing everything correctly to prevent injury. It was challenging but she made it fun with her energy and enthusiasm. I look forward to learning more and getting stronger with Dr C
I just Love this Organization!!! I Love the way The entire staff makes you feel like family when it comes to BSF!!! I enjoy the way BSF always think of its clients by making them a priority!!! Always educating the seniors through different activities that keeps the clients sharp and on their toes!!! I recommend BSF to all who are looking to be part of a family who cares about You and your Health!!!!!

Im a new member I really enjoyed coming to class although I just joined a month ago it is really inviting, fun, and being able to socialize with other. And, a great help to my well being. I look forward to coming back next year.
I am glad to be apart of Body Parts Fitness, it has truly been good for me to keep my body moving as we get older it is a most and I’m glad to be with some really nice people.

Very nice women. I always look forward to going to class. Very motivating I must say . I've been taking my health more seriously. Lol I never thought I could dance ������
I recently started attending the line dance class and find it energizing and filled with fun/laughter while getting in my cardio! Dr. C and Maddy are both awesome people and I’m looking forward to attending the classes again in 2025.

I have enjoyed this Senior Fitness Body Part class with Dr. C. immensely. Dr. C. gets that body going. You can sit or stand. It is a pleasure to be apart of something that's growing and people that cares about you. Dr. C. brings energy and confidence to you. This is an excellent class and I challenge anybody to come out and engage yourself on Thursday mornings at Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center.

I really thank Dr. Stanley for taking out her time to help improve our fitness, which ultimately improves our lives. We do not often thank people that give of themselves so generously and freely. I hate the class is ending. It is much needed year-round. Everything heads South, and we are not as active as we used to be, leaving us to eat, gain weight and get out of shape. Thanks again and blessings forevermore!
I like the service because it enhances my health. It provides connections with friends. The instructors are very patient, kind and understanding. Overall, they want you to come in and enjoy the experience and have a good time. Lastly, the atmosphere is simply beautiful!

I became a fan and member of the Body Parts Senior Fitness program when I retired. On my very first day I knew that it was the right place and fit for me. A free program for seniors where the welcome mat is extended on day one and offers something for everyone is unbeatable. I highly recommend this program.
Body Parts Fitness is a great non-profit program that offer participation that's gear towards being a healthy you and connecting you with other seniors and peers of all ages. My name is C Jones, and I have been an active member for several years. I like meeting new people and since I have retired I looked for an organization that would help me to interact and engaged with others while exercising. I love doing cardio/strength training with Dr. Brantley, line dancing with Ms. Mattie , Zumba with Mrs. Donna or else just doing a healthy walk. BodyParts Senior Fitness provides a quality senior fitness class to supplement my daily walking routine. The Line Dance Stretching classes adds a much needed stretch to my joints and flexibility to my body. These classes enhances my life, as it is imperative to remain in motion to support a mobile lifestyle.
I am an 83 year old woman who was a 30 year member of one of Chicago's most popular fitness centers. I participated on and off, but their offerings did not meet my personal needs.
However, in September 2019, my high school friend introduced me to the University of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry and Body Parts Fitness program.
When I began my participation in the program, I had been diagnosed as "pre-diabetic" and I was very concerned. My nutritionist designed a plan that included changing my eating habits, increasing water intake and EXERCISING.
Since my membership in the program, my overall health status has improved. For example, my blood pressure has been consistently normal, my pre- diabetic status has changed, I am less stressed and my strength and balance has improved. My primary physician believes that in part, my overall improved health, is because of my diet changes, consistent and varied exercise activities.
I want to thank the sponsors of this fantastic program for especially understanding the need to offer senior health programs both online and in person. Seniors deserve, want and need options that can help them hopefully prevent illnesses and improve their health.
I am filled with gratitude for the availability of this senior program. Personally, it is much more than the workshops and exercises, it is also about the participants' camaraderie with each other and the dedicated "Trainers" who demonstrate their strong desire to assist you in your quest to be healthier. I hope the program continues to offer these excellent programs. The collaboration between the University of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry and Body Parts Fitness program and my participation in them has helped change my life for the better!
I have been a part of the Body Parts Senior Fitness program for a several years. It has been a great program. It keeps the seniors moving. Great program.
I participated in Bodyparts Senior Fitness after I retired after 2007. I believe that this program has improved the quality of my social life . I look forward to exercising with Dr. Brantley and her instructors,from yoga, zumba , tai chi, cardio ,strength building and especially line dancing! This program ,in addition to my participation in eating healthily( the MIND and the Mediterranean diets ) have given me the energy and positive attitudes that probably will lead to a long life! My arthritis, high cholesterol readings and blood pressure problems have benefited from this program!
BodyParts Senior Fitness is a wonderful foundation. They have various organizations that come to inform seniors about healthy living. They have strength training and line dancing every Tuesday morning at 9:15am. with Maddy B. It is fun and it keeps you healthy. So, I invite all to come, you won’t be sorry.

This is such a great way for seniors to get active and also engage in community. Bodyparts Senior Fitness is an initiative that needs continued and growing support. This non-profit is all about love and health.
I participate in Dr. Brantley’s class on Zoom. She makes even Zoom classes personal. It is a pleasure to get up early and move with her. Her classes move every part of the body. Monthly she introduces a theme. This month was improving sleep.
I would strongly encourage every senior interested in improving or maintaining their strength, balance, and mobility to try out her classes.
