Causes: Job Training
Mission: Our goal is to provide the community with radio programming that challenges, enriches, informs, educates and entertains while reflecting cultural and intellectual diversity. The company’s location within the Empowerment Zone reinforces its commitment to improving the economic outlook of the local community that will effectively serve rural areas in the United States and enriching the lives of its listeners.
Results: 1. In three Years to have one thousand at risk youths complete our program and find work 2. Convince business owners that Youths at High Risk is a viable program worth supporting, therefore, they will continue to provide additional job offers to our clients. 3. Gain the support of the local school system and churches, and encourage those agencies to recommend our services. 4. Receive Financial support from the business community 5. Increased at risk youths self-concept through the rewards of honest work. 6. Have Job training for Youth At High Risk Program become a permanent part of the Community.
