Causes: Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Children & Youth
Mission: The mission of big brothers big sisters of east tennessee is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Bbbs partners with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community and hold ourselves accountable for each child in the program achieving: higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships, avoidance of risky behaviors, and educational success.
Programs: The big brothers big sisters program matches adult volunteer mentors to children from primarily single-parent homes in knox and surrounding counties.
