Mission: THE CREATION AND PERFORMANCE OF AN ANNUAL PRODUCTION HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE CENTRAL ACTIVITY FOR THE CIRCUS, ASSURING THE ORGANIZATION'S ARTISTIC INTEGRITY AND HELPING TO GUIDE THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS FIVE COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS. EACH YEAR, A FULL-TIME, RESIDENT COMPANY COLLABORATES WITH AN ENSEMBLE OF INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS ON AN ORIGINAL PRESENTATION OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. IN 2009, OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIY WAS OUR ANNUAL PRODUCTION PLAY ON! - THE 21ST ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION.

Programs: We are a cultural organization serving families through the performing arts. Circus arts is our specialty and we create for families with our annual Circus production seen by 450,000 people annually. The experience for families is heartwarming, life affirming and deeply respectful of children. The experience is transformative Individuals in families have vivid and lasting memories of their shared experience. We translate this experience into community programming in other venues through five award winning community programs, the largest of which is our Clown Care Unit that serves families by visiting the bedsides of acutely and chronically ill children in children's hospitals across the country. This is a 52 week a year professional program that serves the children, their parents and siblings, the nursing and medical staffs.
