Causes: Family Counseling
Mission: Training married couples in the practice of marriage mentoring. Conducting community awareness meetings and distributing articles to bring awareness of the impact of divorce and to emphasize the need to advocate marriage.
Programs: Marriage education- students- consists of development and teaching of biblical, relationship curriculum middle and high school students per semester in an inner-city private school. This program has benefited approximately 400+ students over the last seven years.
marriage training & education-adults- consists of the development and teaching of biblical, marriage-related material to married and single adults. This program has benefited several hundred adults, including marriage mentors, married "mentee" couples, engaged couples, single adults, and senior married adults.
community awareness- consists of organized gatherings with people from across the birmingham area for the purpose of informing them of the latest developments and trends impacting marriage and the family. We have also used social media to draw attention to issues concerning marriage. Exact number of people impacted is unknown.
