The program provides clothing and food to people in need. I've volunterred to work In several events. One event was at Sandridge Community Center and the turnout was great. Everyone left with a smile on their face. And last Rev. Joyce is a women of God.

Pastor Joyce is the best! My school district was in need of coats for needy families. I was able to make contact with her and give her our specific needs. Better Days took the liberty of cleaning the coats and delivering them to the school during the COVID crisis! We were also informed of food resources for families. Better Days is a great resource for the Calumet City area due to the limited community resources in the area.
This organization reflects to me (do unto others as you would have them do unto you and,I had the privilege to know pastor Joyce who has been on the Frontline helping anyone she can food clothing and shelter and more importantly Human Kindness wonderful and charitable organization, please its tight I know but please donate if you can afford to! Better Days Community Outreach Services is a place to come to when you have a need. The staff is caring and loving. They go above and beyond in making sure the needs of the community are met. Everyone that comes there is treated with respect.
Better Days Community Outreach has provided outstanding service to various communities. The annual food drives and frequent feedings of the homeless, and overall support for the members of society in need of rehabilitation is truly an exemplifying example of God's work. I give this nonprofit five stars for their ongoing community support.
It has been a blessing supporting Better Days Outreach in Calumet City and the Director, Rev. Joyce Smith. She partnered with our church New Beginning Worship
Center, Thornton, Il. During the summer and late fall 2020, we provided fruits and veggies to the community and others. Its such a wonderful feeling to provide food to families in need.
In talking with Joyce at Better Days about the growing need for food at the mobile pantry in our community, she warmly and quickly connected me with Imperfect Foods by Fannie May to provide fresh produce that extends the ability of the mobile pantry to hundreds more families in need. In this collaboration, Better Days does a lot of the behind the scenes which makes it easy for me to just pick up and provide food to those in need. It is inspiring to work with Joyce who is genuine, caring, and truly passionate (and knowledgeable!) about doing God's work - I look forward to continuing to serve others with Better Days and highly recommend supporting and using their services.
