The better business bureau system responds to millions of such inquiries a year, as well as providing information about charity groups and organizations. The bureau provides a third party arbitration program to resolve consumer/business disputes principally in the automotive industry. The automotive arbitration program is conduced as part of a national program established by an agreement between automobile manufacturers and the council of better business, inc. Of which the bureau is a member.
