Mission: BeMoreCaring exists to serve individuals experiencing homelessness and those in recovery by providing meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and essential resources. We form lasting relationships to support our friends in taking the next steps toward stability, recovery, and improved well-being.
Results: n the past year, BeMoreCaring has provided outreach three days a week, directly helping over 600 individuals weekly in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County. We have supported six individuals through various recovery stages, assisted a young woman escaping trafficking, and provided consistent care to hundreds living on the streets. Our partnerships with recovery programs, community organizations, and volunteers have expanded our impact, enabling us to meet the growing needs of our friends.
Target demographics: Individuals experiencing Homelessness and those needing recovery to take the next steps toward stability and improved well-being.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 700 individuals weekly through outreach, providing critical supplies and essential resources, providing consistent support to over 200 unique individuals per run, three days a week.
Geographic areas served: Baltimore City, Baltimore County , and Anne Arundel County
Programs: Outreach and distribution of meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and camping supplies; recovery support partnerships; volunteer engagement; and connection to essential resources.
