The funds generated through capital campaigns, event fundraising, annual giving and major gifts are used to support education, research, clinical and health care programs, capital needs throughout the health system. The primary areas of support in 2016 include construction for baystate franklin medical center surgery center and baystate wing hospital emergency department, cancer research and patient-centered programs and services, baystate children's hospital, baystate wing hospital, baystate franklin medical center, baystate visiting nurse association & hospice of western new england,inc. , baystate noble hospital corporation and noble visiting nurse services, inc.
