Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of Bayou Community Foundation is to strengthen our local capacity to create a compassionate coastal community for generations to come. This means that BCF promotes philanthropy in Terrebonne Parish, Lafourche Parish, and Grand Isle, Louisiana; support the work of local nonprofits through grants and other development opportunities; and advocates for programs addressing critical human services, education, workforce development, and coastal preservation needs in our community.
Results: Nearly $600,000 granted to local nonprofits from 2013-2016.
