Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: In a country that suffers from extreme poverty, high unemployment and the pillaging of our wildlife. There is little left for mans best friend and our fur companions. We aim to bring international awareness to the plight of abandoned animals and the animal welfare needs in South Africa.
Results: Through our BarkingMad Network Partners we assist thousands of animals each month and assist families in keeping their pets through behavioural support and medical and food support too.

Programs: Our Barkingmad Network Partners are a group of animal rescues working together. We assist with home to home adoptions to keep animals out of shelters. We have a child safety programme called Dog Stars Click to Feed to help feed abandoned pets and assist shelters around the country. We are currently researching and creating an extensive SA rescue data base and creating a minimum standards protocol.
