Mission: The primary exempt purpose of baptist hospital of east tennessee, inc. (bhet) is to extend the healing ministry of jesus by improving the health of our communities with emphasis on people who are poor and under-served. Bhet accomplishes this purpose by demonstrating behaviors reflecting our core values of compassion, excellence, human dignity, justice, sacredness of life and service.
Programs: The assets of baptist hospital of east tennessee, inc. Were sold to health management associates, inc. On october 1, 2011. Accordingly, all health services operations ceased effective this date. All remaining assets and liabilities were merged into mercy health partners, inc. On december 31, 2012.
