Causes: Education
Mission: To make available scholarships for secondary and post-secondary education to students who have potential but may not fit the qualification for other programs; to provide special grants to individual teachers, departments, orschools for projects which will enhance the quality of education; to expend money for other charitable, educational or specific purposes, including the support of other charitable organizations of character and purpose consistent with these concepts and "service above self", and to provide opportunities for community members to participate in schools by sharing their expertise, energy or caring in ways which promote the purposes of the fund
Programs: Supported various community (local), vocational (local) and international organizations such as elementary school reading programs in seattle public schools, ballard senior center, ballard boys and girls club, special olympics, december holiday shopping spree for 30+ needy elementary school children, vocational marine training, and guatemala water project.
