Mission: The clinic provides high quality, culturally appropriate health services to the uninsured individuals in low-income communities in northern virginia. The clinic, provides vital service, vital navigation, and vital education to achieve improved health outcomes for the bailey's crossroads community of fairfax county of virginia.
Programs: Medical support - the medical support team is led by a nurse practitioner and a volunteer medical doctor. Services include the following:1 - chronic disease managememt2 - episodic health care (common cold, influenza vaccine and basic health needs)3 - patient education (nutrition, diabetes care, breast health)4 - as necessary, referrals for laboratory and diagnostic testing5 - hiv testing and education. In kind medical support the clinic received in 2017 totaled $644,400
counseling support - the clinic provides free counseling support to registered patients, who are low-income uninsured adults. The counseling services team is all volunteer. Volunteers are licensed professionals who provide services for mood disorders, life transition and relationship concerns. In kind counseling support totaled $16,750
prayer support - the clinic provides prayer support to interested patients and to their families. Participation in prayer support is voluntary. Prayer services are strictly confidential and are complement to counseling services. In kind prayer support totaled $10,317
