Mission: The mission of the association and its membership is to foster the continued commercial strength of the back bay area of the city of boston, and to initiate programs that improve, promote, and protect the quality of life in the back bay.
Programs: Continued to work with the city of boston and the boston planning & development agency on new construction projects and rehabilitation of sections of the city of boston including approvals for expanded housing. Representatives of the organization served on the boston finance commission and the boards of the copley square charitable trust and the friends of copley square. Representatives also worked with various local organizations on community improvements.
