Nonprofit Overview
Mission: BACC Community combines the resources of several established community service groups with the local support of BACC members to create a community of active and inspired volunteers. We specialize in helping children with special needs, and are expanding to meet the needs of both the homeless and low income families.
Results: Provided hundreds of special needs children with the opportunity to play alongside typical children in inclusive sports environments, over a dozen locations around the Bay Area, for 12 years running. Of the 10,000 kids in Bay Area foster homes, we provided over 5,000 of them with support via 15 different agencies, donating over 8,600 toys to date.
Target demographics: Kids with special needs between 4-20 years old in the Bay Area, low income families in the Bay Area
Geographic areas served: San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Contra Costa and Alameda counties)
Programs: E-Soccer, E-Karate, E-Fitness, XCED Toy Drive, Monthly OutReach,
