Mission: The avalon school, an independent school for boys, seeking to cultivate in its students intellectual freedom, personal responsibility, and a spirit of adventure in an atmosphere that allows boys to be boys. The distinctive learning characteristics of young men are addressed both in and out of the classroom through a curriculum steeped in the humanities and sciences, the arts and athletics. A faculty well-versed in the liberal arts serve as both teachers and role-models. The school desires to form boys into men of faith and purpose who will help foster a more human, more vital society through their daily lives as husbands, fathers, professionals and citizens.
Programs: Operate a primary and secondary catholic boys' school located in gaithersburg, md educating up to 165 students grades 2 through 12
operate a boys athletic program for both middle school and high school. Sports offered for the boys include football, basketball, baseball, cross country and soccer.
