Target demographics: people with print disabilities (blindness or visual impairments, dyslexia, and physical disabilities that prevent reading standard print) as well as for schools, hospitals, businesses and organizations who serve those with print disabilities

Programs: Trained volunteers transcribe a broad range of materials into braille and audio formats following Library of Congress standards. Able provides transcriptions of a broad range of print materials, including: • school textbooks and other educational materials • magazines • fiction, poetry, and drama for adults and children • tax forms • work and professional development materials • business cards • technical/training manuals or slide presentations • election ballots • diagrams, maps and other illustrations • restaurant menus • health and medical information
