Mission: Aui collaborates with the scientific community and research sponsors to plan, build, and operate cutting-edge facilities. We cultivate excellence, deliver value, enhance education, and engage the public.
Programs: Astronomy and astrophysics research programs: the organization operates a complementary suite of powerful, state of the art radio telescopes for research conducted by the international scientific community. The suite of telescopes include: the atacama large millimeter/submillimeter array, the robert c. Byrd green bank telescope, expanded very large array, and the very large baseline array. The organization also provides formal and informal programs in education and public outreach for teachers, students, the general public and the media.
