Causes: Arts & Culture, Cultural & Ethnic Awareness
Mission: To bridge communities and generations through art, culture, education and business; to serve as an interactive cultural crossroads between local and international communities.
Programs: The organization holds events and presentations in the community to promote awareness and education in asian and pacific islander cultures. These include the lunar new year celebration, samoa cultural day, ethnic festival, cultural treasure trunk presentations, and classes and youth programs that honor asian pacific heritage. The asia pacific cultural center (apcc) was established in 1996 with an aim to bridge generational and cultural differences through art, culture, education and business. The activities and programs sponsored by the apcc represent over 47 different asian and pacific island countries. Each country represented brings with it a rich and diverse cultural backdrop, providing enhanced experiences for the thousands of annual visitors which take advantage of the activities provided by the apcc.
