Mission: The Artisan’s Sanctuary was established in the fall of 2014 and is incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit. The overarching goal of the organization is to bring together area artists, arts organizations, businesses, government, and art lovers to foster better communication and cooperation in support of the visual and performing arts. We believe a strong arts community is key to an improved quality of life and vibrant economic development.
Target demographics: local artists, arts organizations, and city government.
Direct beneficiaries per year: several hundred people through our on-site gallery shows, open mics, arts classes and community events.
Geographic areas served: planning and developing arts exhibits, concerts, classes, and events that will benefit the community.
Programs: community arts events, visual and performing arts shows and exhibits, art classes and workshops for the community.
