Mission: Art in General is a nonprofit organization that assists artists with the production and presentation of new work. It changes in response to the needs of artists and informs and engages the public about their work.
Results: Nearly 30 years of providing space for art and dialogue about art.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 5-10 artists
Programs: New Commissions Program, providing funds and support resources for a major project that wouldn't happen otherwise. Eastern European Residency Exchange, with partners currently in Poland, Croatia, and Romania. Intersections, focuses on collaborations between artists that have their own individual practices as well.
