Mission: The mission of the art association is to encourage a vital and creative community by providing opportunities for the exposure to, education in, and the enjoyment of a wide variety of art experiences.
Programs: The art association served youth through 82 art classes and workshops for 1,172 children,from ages twelve months through 18 years. The art association offers a robust after-school and summer camp program, an asset to working families in jackson. The outreach program partners with more than 21 local human service organizations to bring art experiences to underserved populations, including children, elderly and disabled populations.
the art association taught 178 classes, workshops and symposia to 795 adult students. Workshops included coursework with esteemed visiting artists. Class offerings included drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking and digital photography in 5 state-of-the-art teaching studios.
the art association held 6 exhibitions showcasing 100 local, regional and nationally recognized artists. The gallery also served as a venue for annual teton mudpots sales, giving ceramic artists an opportunity to sell wares. Annual art fairs gave 447 artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork.
