Causes: Environment, Forest Conservation
Mission: Our work brings the right trees to the right places for the benefit of people and the environment. Our programs bring together communities to encourage green spaces, urban forests, and great neighborhoods with shade and other benefits. We love arizona and work together with volunteers, partners, and businesses to make our community enjoyable.
Programs: We provide education for tree workers and professionals as well as home owners and people of all ages who want to learn how to properly plant and care for trees. Our programs provide the required continuing education units ceus needed for tree professionals in the green industry and are also open to anyone wanting to become certified or know more about trees. In 2017 we provided educational events that included programs for home owners, certified arborists, tree workers, and other tree-industry professionals. Actc volunteers participated in planting trees in arizona including plantings for schools and service projects.
