I've worked with this non-profit for several years as a volunteer, and then as a community partner. The outgoing executive director was a hard working, dedicated person, and worked very well with the clients the non-profit serves. I got the same impression from other staff. I haven't worked with the new executive director yet, so I can't comment on this person yet.
ARC is led by an extraordinary person, Lisa Lynch, who recognizes, and is in turn, led by an extraordinary group of people who work and play in the community with great enthusiasm. They welcome into their midst all people - with warmth and kindness, inspite of (or maybe because of) their imperfections and vulnerabilities. Kindness and self-esteem building rule! Their contributions to our community are great, and their propensity for celebration and fun is inspiring. Uh oh - here comes that oh so overused word.....can't help it - AWESOME! Maggie Morin
