Mission: Provide quality, relevant work based training to the community by working with businesses as partners to determine the educational needs and provide the appropriate training to develop a viable and skilled workforce that will raise the overall standards of the community. Our vision is to create a business and industry-directed regional system of lifelong learning that connects the members of the community to better economic opportunities through education and training in an environment that teaches the skills that will give each person the ability to chose a life path rather than be stuck with whats left over.
Programs: We provide training for a variety of different careers, regardless of prior educational background, with or without a degree as a final goal. Our training is in-depth and hands-on, with a focus on developing exactly the skills needed to excel in today's workplace. The keys to the apprentice academy's success include: our industry-driven training programs, our focus on providing programs to meet community and industry needs and demands, providing industry qualified and experienced instructors and making sure our programs are flexible in terms of scheduling and location.
