Mission: Education - supporting the apple public school program connected to franklin elementary.
Programs: Educational enrichment "spring event" is an annual field trip/event to culminate the academic theme for the year. Objective is to provide an interactive & interpersonal experience for learning and social development with interaction and collaboration between all 7 grade levels, teachers, and parents. This year's event was an overnight event held at a youth camp.
educational enrichment via "program planning" activities supplement traditional in-class learning by providing unique learning opportunities through field trips, guest speakers, interactive educational materials, and parent-led activities. The theme is selected annually.
classroom support improves educational experiences by supplementing school district funded supplies, technology, and curriculum with additional tools requested by teachers and parent volunteers. Examples of spending include touch typing software, art supplies, and math curriculum.
community support and administrative expenses. Apple franklin supports the overall franklin elementary community through funds for such things as library books, a children's theater week, and online learning tools.
