Mission: The texas childrens choir is a community choir of the greater san antonio area that trains and equips children to provide quality choral music as a service to their community. Inspire young musicians by instilling confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a heart for service through the training of master level choral technique. Provide opportunities for our singers to perform choral music in support of civic, sacred, military and cultural events in local, national and international venues. Present a stimulating and challenging repertoire that covers a broad spectrum of musical styles and expression. Create a safe environment that encourages diversity and welcomes families from all cultural, racial, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Programs: Music for local community: holiday/spring concerts, veterans day ceremony & other events honoring veterans, anti-drug rally at tx capitol, founder's day ceremony at the alamo, community concerts, memorial day concert & parade in dc, singer workshop
