Mission: Amigos de las americas builds partnerhips to empower young leaders, advance community development and strengthen multi-cultural understanding in the americas. Amigos is an international, voluntary, not-for-profit organization through which young people from the u. S. Volunteer to spend a summer providing public health services to our neighbors in latin america. Training for and serving in these summer programs develop leadership skills and an understanding of other cultures.
