Mission: To conduct activities designed to provide current information to the public relating to scientific management of the fish and wildlife resources of north america; to provide the public professional insight concerning issues of current interest affecting fish and wildlife; to develop broader public understanding and awareness of programs undertaken by federal, state, and provincial agencies to manage and protect fish and wildlife resources and to develop broader public understanding and appreciate of the importance of conserving forests, waters and soils and of wise management of fish and wildlife resources as part of natural and managed ecosystems and as a source of recreation and food supply; and to conduct and fund wildlife-related scientific management projects.
