Mission: The mission of the americas foundation fundacion da las americas is to give aid to disadvantaged children and promote community development.
Programs: Approximately 220 children were give $568 each in scholarships to study basic education, ecology, and arts education including ballet and instrumental music. Support was also provided for a youth orchestra, language program and sports programs.
support was provided for the launch of the non-profit open marucana university. The specific university programs being supported included ecological engineering programs, organic archictecture, accreditation, promotion and facilities.
support saturday volunteer program to help build schools, give community classes and produce cultural festivals. One is an international culture of christmas celebration and the other focuses on the dance, music and artistic traditions of europe.
