My experience with the International Network of Hearts has been incredibly meaningful and positive. I recently started as an intern, and I can clearly see that this organization is managed and driven by passionate people who are all committed to uniting their community against human trafficking. During my time there, I had the opportunity to help at an event celebrating Boy and Girl Day. I was able to assist the team in making sure everything ran smoothly. And even in a helper role, I felt included and valued by everyone there, which says a lot about the environment they create. One of my most memorable moments was getting the cow costume on another volunteer for a surprise . It was a fun, unexpected experience that really displayed the welcoming and lighthearted spirit of the organization. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience as an intern and would recommend getting involved with the International Network of Hearts to be a part of such a supportive and inspiring team.

I have been a proud volunteer with NERDS RULE INC for the past four years, and it has truly been a place of peace, purpose, and hope in my life. From the moment I joined, I felt welcomed into a community that genuinely cares about people and their growth. Under the leadership of the CEO and Founder, this organization continues to thrive, guided by strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Even during life’s most challenging moments, she leads with grace and resilience, always ensuring her team is supported and that every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. NERDS RULE INC doesn’t just serve the community; it uplifts it. The programs, outreach, and genuine care poured into every initiative have made a lasting impact, and it’s inspiring to witness how lives are being changed every day. I am incredibly grateful to be part of an organization that not only empowers others but also creates a safe, supportive space where hope continues to grow.

Naida at Crossing Guardians made it possible for our family to adopt our beloved rescue from Tijuana, sweet Olive. Olive faced and overcame horrendous abuse and sustained life threatening injuries. If it had not been for this foundation, in particular Naida, Olive surely would not have survived. Now fully healed, Olive is the apple of our families eye. She is not only a survivor, she is absolutely thriving! I am forever grateful to Naida and Crossing Guardians for their dedication and care of our dear, sweet Olive ??????.

I have a family member who got help from CRP. The case managers are great.

This nonprofit is helping to provide education to those children who might otherwise not receive an education. This provides them hope for the future.

I have known Travis and Amber of SOW Ministries for over 10 years. I have seen their work firsthand. They are great people with great hearts for helping others. You get to experience building a house for a family in need and sharing the experience with the family when they get to move in. I was first hired by New GateWay as an HR Coordinator Intern and I later became New GateWay’s first full-time employee, holding the position of Program Coordinator.<br><br> My time at this company has been both rewarding and beneficial to my career. This church is amazing! The pastors truly have the Heart of God. My story is that they will do everything they can to help you meet the need in your life; if they can not help personally they will direct you to the right people who will. They are more than a hand out but a ministry that really cares for it's members, and community.

I call Hilarious Givers "the Godmother organization," because like the miracle-working Godmother in children's tales, they provide so much--from food, to reading glasses; from beds to school uniforms--for many charity partners in the border-towns of Mexico. It all began with a mission to feed the starving children of migrant farmers who often had to abandon their kids for all to have a chance at survival. From there, the organization met with the self-sacrificing, loving people who assist other underserved segments of the Mexican population--young men deported back to Mexico though they've spent their whole lives in the US, children living in remote places who need eye exams, farm laborers who need a chance to live free instead of beholden to a system that keeps them perpetually enslaved. So much need just steps from our lives of abundance!<br><br>I traveled with Judd, the founder, just south of the border to meet with some of the charity partners. Our journey was an education to me--I had known there was need, but had no clue how much need there was. It showed me the bountiful love Judd had for all people, and just how enormous Hilarious Givers's calling is. As we drove along the coast, he explained how the migrant farming system works, what happens to special needs children, the fight for education of the native children...and on and on. He sees every problem, and by some miracle, Hilarious Givers has been able to address the needs of a wide swath of underserved people.<br><br>Every charity has a purpose--I'm not here to argue one is greater than the next. What if you found a charity with the purpose of supporting the good missions of other charities through resources and connections they dig up from home? What if you found a charity who runs so lean, they rely on donated warehouse space and office space so they could focus resources on the work? That's Hilarious Givers. <br><br>If there are angels on Earth, I think Hilarious Givers's charity partners would agree with me, they are the founders of Hilarious Givers.

I have been a dedicated supporter of the Rainbow Sky Foundation since 2015 and love seeing the results that they provide. The turn the generosity of individual like my self into action deliverable results.

I USUALLY RELY ON CALLING 911 EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND I GO TO CHULA VISTA SCRIPPS MERCY EMERGENCY SERVICES . AS A PREPARE MYSELF TO PROVIDE THE E.R. STAFF WITH A LIST OF MY MOMS MEDICATION,ECT. CHULA VISTA SCRIPPS MERCY EMERGENCY STAFF IS WELL PREPARED AND VERY PROFFESSIONAL RESPONSE TEAM. THANK YOU

The team at RSM have some of the best hearts I have ever met. Truly moving to watch them give their all to care for the kids all day every day. The money I donate here goes farther than any other organization I sponsor.

As a longtime donor and volunteer, I am a huge fan of SBCS. Every time I see the children at Mi Escuelita, I know that my money and time is helping to improve the lives of our community’s most vulnerable children. As a parent, it is important to me that children be given every chance to succeed in the face of adversity and I feel like SBCS works hard to make a positive and lasting impact on the children of Mi Esculeita and their families.

Although the main focus of this group is to promote Literacy...they are involved in a variety of great causes such as the Princess project, Kindergarten Boot Camp, etc. A great group of women of all ages. I became a volunteer with ASF (which is now Advancing Student Forward) about 10 years ago and a board member about 8 years ago, because I think it's such a great organization. ASF provides scholarships for youth in 7th grade through university in a neighborhood of Tijuana, Mexico. Although school is supposed to be free through high school, Mexico is still a poor country, so there aren't enough schools, teachers or supplies for Tijuana youth. Going to middle and high school can mean taking public transportation (sometimes 2 or 3 buses or collective taxis) each day, as well as buying school supplies, uniforms and often making donations to the school. <br> <br>By helping poor kids get through school, ASF is raising the professional and economic levels of this neighborhood. Not only does ASF provide funds, but also mentoring, as university students work with younger students to help them navigate the school system, and present on life skills ranging from bullying to health. ASF also provides training for parents, many of whom didn't go to middle or high school, so don't know how to support their kids. <br> <br>In addition to being a great program, ASF is well-run. Founder and Executive Director Monica Santos has a Masters in Nonprofit Management; the organization has excellent infrastructure, thoughtful and substantive programs, and tracks the long-term success of our students. <br> <br>It has been a joy to be involved with ASF, to see students finish college, get jobs, help their families, younger students and their whole community. I hope you'll think of getting involved as a result of reading this review!

This organization is involved in helping many of the poorest of the poor, including those with Downs Syndrome, with education, basic health care, and other needs. They give personal attention to individuals and their needs.

In the early 1990's, my mother-in-law was a "participant" at the Glenner Center in La Mesa, for day care. I would take her at 8 AM and pick her up at 5 PM, four days a week Every morning she awoke and asked if she was "going to school today". She absolutely loved it there. The volunteers were knowledgeable, compassionate, kind and re-assuring. They enlisted her help serving lunch, which made her feel so important. It was wonderful for her and a much needed respite for my wife and I. She even met a gentleman there that she called her boyfriend. Problem was, she couldn't remember his name. She thought it was Earl but she wasn't sure. She always came home a happy camper. <br>After two years she passed away. We will always be grateful to the Glenner Centers.

This organization appears to have opportunities for community service efforts every month. I have seen events for children's causes, high school youth scholarships, veterans support efforts, and even park and community clean-ups. I find it pretty interesting how much they do and how wide a net of causes they support! My hats off to them!

I began volunteering more than 4 years ago. I liked everything I was told about what Amigas' purpose and plan was but I really became a "believer" when I began to see lives of families positively impacted by information the wives and mother's learned through the many workshops and chats that they had with each other and the Amigas team. The relationships with my daughter and my husband really improved when I began putting into practice what I learned in the series of talks about Love Languages. I didn't know that I wasn't speaking their languages. I only spoke mine. So, there wasn't much communication going on. We all took a little test that told us what our Love Language is. Then I began learning to speak theirs. At Amigas, we shared stories of setbacks and victories. I got lots of good advice and shared stategies that worked for me. That is just one example of the good things that Amigas has done for me. My present focus is what I'm going to do and how I'm going to live after retirement. It's coming too soon for me and the economy is not in my favor. I'm talking with my Amigas. Recently we had an employment program specialist from the Employment Development Department of the State of California give us a talk. She shared information that led to two jobs among the ladies that attend our workshops. WOW! Two lives got back on track to taking care of themselves and putting food on the table plus, their self-esteem is back. This month Amigas is collecting boxes of cereal and diapers to give to Emanual Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps needy families. It had a long list of needs. Amigas chose to donate cereal and diapers. I'm looking for the best deals in supermarkets and then I'll buy.

I've had the pleasure of volunteering with J.P. Western Presentations for two years now. The dedication of the founder Mr. Pat Combs is endless. The Board of Directors and teachers are made of up faith-based, dedicated men and woman who come together with great expertise to tackle the challenges that disadvantaged San Diego youth experience daily. This local 501(c)(3) nonprofit has partnered with San Diego County's Probation Department, local churches, and employers to encourage disadvantaged students to successfully develop every aspect of their life through education. They have even developed a special curriculum, FOUNDATION FOR A NEW FUTURE, which focuses on an individual's potential, God-given gifts, and inherent abilities.
