Two individuals attended and participated in numerous public meetings of the independent citizens oversight committee of that effort. Two individuals attended the world stem cell summit in san antonio, texas. Robert n. Klein ii is the former chairman of the california institute for regenerative medicine. Robert klein was nominated for the 2015 lasker public service award, considered the "american nobel prize". Robert klein is a board member of the isscr global advisory board, and participated in the isscr annual meeting in vancouver, as did two other members. Robert klein is a board member of the ontario institute for cancer research, a canadian non-profit organization for cancer research, affiliated with the university of toronto.
