Mission: The mission of the organization is to provide financial support for certain designated programs of the yedid - association for the community empowerment (yedid) in israel, a tax-exempt corporation established pursuant to the laws of the state of israel. Yedid provides educational, social service and health care services to low-income families and new immigrants.
Programs: Grants made to yedid-association of community empowerment will be used to provide financial support for the following purposes:1. Assist, develop and maintain community centers in israel that provide individuals and communities with information about housing safety, health care, employment and education services. 2. Education: organize lectures in yedid's educational programs and forums that focus on the essence of poverty and varied levels of assistance. 3. Volunteerism: encourage and promote a worldwide group of committed individuals, prepared to assist in the implementation of yedid's programs.
