Programs: Detoxification services - the organization took over management of the hennepin county detox program on april 1, 2002. This is a regulated fifty bed sub-acute medical detox for men and women who live in hennepin county. Clients receive a chemical use assessment referral. Approximately 42% received a significant referral to enter a supportive service . The highly professional staff includes a contracted physician, an rn nursing supervisor, nurses, alcohol and drug counselors, lpn's , tma's, and a highly trained health care assistance staff. Detox now has "contracted pysician, registered nurses, alcohol and drug assessors and pretreatment counselors, and highly trained health care technicians.

anishinabe wakiagun is a 45 bed permanent supporting housing facility for homeless, late stage chronic inebriates. The facility does not require residents to be sober in order to retain their housing. The program goal is to minimize the negative consequences of the residents' drinking while providing a stable, culturally appropriate living environment that encourages a reduction in alcohol consumption. Connected and adjacent to annishinabe wakiagon, is anishinabe bii gii wiin, a 32 unit single room occupancy, permanent supportive housing facility that prvides sober housing opportunities for homeless and near homeless individuals. The program goal is to provide a stable and culturally appropriate living environment from which individuals can explore further education and job opportunities.

kola health outreach program is a community-based program that provides an innovative street-based health outreach program in collaboration with neighborhood community clinics & homeless service organizations targeting chronically alcoholic, chronically homeless american indians who do not usually access shelter programs or mainstream clinic settings. The project has both a clinic site in the basement of the anishinabe wakiagun supportive housing program & a health street-outreach component to best serve this target population. Physician services are provided through a physician service.
