Mission: To support the charitable and educational activities of the israel association of community centers in israel and its constituent community centersmore than 1000 israel youth at risk were served through programs to improve their self esteem dealing with communication difficulties and learning disabilities and programs empowering them to succeed on teaching them life skills. Other programs trained youth counselors to form empowerment groups for adolescent girls. Other programs provided scholarship funds for bedovin college students; provided equipment, books, meals and camp stipends for youth at risk; provided handicap facilities, an elevator, and air conditioning in a run down community center; provided computers and classes for 390 students with learning disabilities, provided training and counseling for some 1200 discharged soldiers to help them enter or stay in college.
