Causes: Civil Rights, Minority Rights
Mission: The council for world jewry, a nonprofit organization founded so jews, worldwide, can join together in partnership, ensuring our common good and collective survival. The council acts in the belief that the key to successfully countering threats against the jewish people and the state of israel is political empowerment and involvement. Therefore, the council's central mission is to articulate the concerns of local jewish communities, internationally, to the united states congress and executive branch and to political leaders around the globe with whom we have built strong bonds of friendship and trust.
Programs: American council for world jewry, inc. Held conferences to bring together the members of the council, supporters and community leaders to discuss issues surrounding muslims, israel and the middle east. These activities furthered the organization's mission of working, in cooperation with jewish communities around the world, toward forging understanding between people of all races and religions, fostering a better understanding of the jewish people and the state of israel, and stemming acts of anti-semitism.
