Mission: The america campaign was founded in 2009 as warrior gateway, a national nonprofit that connected service members, military families, wounded warriors, families of the fallen and our nation's veterans with the sea of goodwill, the hundreds of thousands of government and nonprofit programs in their local community. In 2011, those efforts were recognized as warrior gateway was awarded a federal computer week fed-100 award for significant contributions to the federal it community and again in 2012 with a computerworld honors laureate for our innovation in creating an open-source platform for information sharing in the military nonprofit sector. In 2015, warrior gateway re-branded and became the america campaign. We will continue to serve the military community through our military initiatives even though we have expanded our mission to serve the all americans through technology, education, and the arts.
