Mission: We are committed to the people of our community, to help them overcome challenges and reach their greatest potential by providing quality care, people oriented services, and comfort through the operation of a skilled and intermediate nursing facility. Our primary service area includes northeastern and central pennsylvania.
Programs: The center operates a skilled nursing facility licensed for 371 beds. The center provides intermediate and skilled nursing care and related medical and other services to patients who, because of age, illness, injury, and convalescence or handicap require such care and services. The center had total patient days of 126,468, the majority of which consisted of medicaid (96,410) and medicare (12,438) days. The center's average occupancy for 2017 was 93%. Services were provided to patients who met certain criteria without charge or at amounts less than the established rates. Charges forgone for services rendered and supplies furnished under the charity care policy amounted to $34,145 during the year ended june 30, 2017.
