Mission: MISSION: Encouraging self-empowerment for the poor and homeless through information, support and advocacy. Providing information organized in such a way that it may be easily used to access community resources and then placing it free of charge in convenient sites. VISION: We hope to see a time when the information on how to locate needed community resources is considered as important as providing the resources. Community resource lists are often added as an afterthought. The Alliance - West believes the resource information should be thought of as a starting point. We believe that methods of giving assistance should offer choices and encourage self-empowerment. Anything less simply will not work.
