Mission: Encourage and equip free grace leaders
Programs: Held the national conference in october. In this conference, speakers address issues pertinent to free grace theology, various ministries have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the attendees via speaking opportunities and networking during the conference, and several international pastors attend. This gives the international pastors opportunities to connect with american ministries and gives american pastors opportunities to connect with ministries overseas that desire to connect, be encouraged, and to be equipped. As a result of such interactions, several free grace alliance members have been given opportunities to travel overseas and serve.
held regional conferences in several cities. These conferences differ from the national conference in that they reach local people who would not attend a national conference for any number of reasons. The intent of these conferences is to provide grassroots training for local ministries and to encourage local pastors who hold to free grace theology.
in an effort to help better equip and to help connect, the fga began making significant changes to its internet presence. A new database allows members easy access to other member contact information (thus, allowing better connections) with plans to add job listings, links for member publications (such as log sites and websites), and written material addressing issues pertinent to free grace theology (for example, a well-known theologian had several public presentations in which he criticized free grace theology in general and the fga in particular. A response paper was written which the fga sent to this theologian but also made available to anyone who wished to read it). These changes should laregly be completed mid-2015.
