Mission: The all our children's advocacy center was formed to continue serving the needs of children and non-offending family members who are affected by sexual and extreme physical abuse, while educating the community and assisting them in responding to this problem. Charitable contributions will be used to fund the operations of the organization. All our children's advocacy center collaborates with local law enforcements agencies, the cook county state's attorney's office, and the department of children and family services to efficiently coordinate the investigative process through forensic interviews of children alleged to be victims of sexual or physical abuse. The forensic interview is conducted by staff specifically trained to interview children involved in sexual or physical abuse in a manner sensitive to the child's needs and developmental level and in a child-friendly environment. Programs: All our children's advocacy center served a total of 352 children who were alleged victims of sexual and/or physical abuse, providing forensic interviews, case management, referrals and therapy services. A total number of 550 non-offending family members were provided services by all our children's advocacy center from july 1, 2017 - june 30, 2018. All our children's advocacy center serves children and their non-offending family members who are affected by the trauma of abuse, while enhancing the community's response to the problem. Their goal is to lessen the trauma a child often faces during a sexual abuse investigation while enhancing the efforts of prosecutors, child protective services, and law enforcement agencies. They believe that coordinating the efforts of investigative professionals will increase their ability to help victims and their families. All our children's advocacy center collaborates with local law enforcement agencies, dcfs, and the cook county state's attorney's office to streamline the investigative process through forensic interviews. The forensic interview is conducted in a warm, caring environment that is sensitive to the child's needs and developmental level.
