Men's residential is a supportive residential treatment program designed to help men, who have long histories of addiction, unemployment and/or homelessness, recover from their drug and alcohol use, find a job, and connect to affordable, drug free housing. Rural treatment services provides treatment services and case management in rural counties accross the state of alabama. Healthy living - a compresensive substance abuse treatment program and hiv prevention program designed to address the relationship between substance abuse and hiv in african-americans who live in rural counties in alabama.
affordable housing is divided into the following areas:transitional housing provides high-quality, drug-free short-term and long-term housing for individuals and families, including those who have been homeless, have poor credit histories and/or have been in prison. The agency provides a transitional housing program for homeless veterans that combines housing with supportive services to assist the veterans in obtaining the services necessary for them to obtain and maintain residential stability. Permanent housing provides apartments and single family homes to low-income families.
prevention and wellness services:kids who care is a free eight-week summer camp program for low-income campers, ages 5-13. Teens who care is an innovative program created to inspire and empower teens to make a difference in their community. Prevention partners - partnership with miles college to reduce the risk of hiv infection among its students and young adults living in the neighboring community. Bchip and gamechanger - partnerships wiht other community hiv prevention programs to identify individuals living wiht hiv and help them get into care and to reduce high risk behaviors among those who are at risk for hiv prevention. Hope for heroes is a rapid re-housing for homeless veterans.
