My name is Rey Martinez and I volunteer at Crossroads to Intervention as a translator for the Latino Community. Crossroads really cares about each and every individual that comes through their doors. I’ve seen it and it motivates me to keep volunteering and doing my part to help those in need in any way I can.
I have worked with Crossroads To Intervention for Over 10 years the staff is very loving and caring they treat all of their clients with dignity and respect. They work diligently to reduce violent crimes in the community! For the clients who are sent there through the various courts or agencies like DHR The staff works hard to make sure that if clients complete the program and they have issues with the court or if they need drivers license, a job, having problems with in the family all of these issues are addressed and resolved by the time the client leave the program so that they leave with a clean slate and the tools needed to become productive citizens and healthy loving parents ,sons and daughters. Keep up the good work!
Crossroads is a great program. Ms. Morton is a great counselor and she is honest & fair. She informs the program participants know up front what will be expected of them as well as what will happen if they pass of fail. Her clients truly appreciate her the hard work that she puts in to help them with their issues. And many of her clientsshow their appreciation by often times returning to visit with her after completing the program to show their progress. She is widely respected amongst her peers. I enjoyed working with Ms. Morton. She helped me to grow as a probation case manager professionally.
As a board member of Crossroads we pride ourselves on providing quality care to all our clients while referring them to community resources. We take care of all the clients needs so when they leave the program they will have a fresh new beginning.

My son Ryan Steele was lost and confused at one time; He started stealing money from me, lying, grades was slipping. I didn't know what to do with him, the courts sent us to Crossroads To Interventions, where we met Ms. Tawanna Morton, she saved Ryan from destruction. Ms. Morton gave me the idea to send my son off to Job Corps, his whole world has turned around. Ryan will be completing the program in July with a certification in CNA and driver's license. We owe Ms. Morton thanks for her patience and understanding, it was her sessions that helped him, her advice helped me make that decision. Ryan appreciates you so much, Ms. Tawanna; keep on helping others to reach greatness.
