We provide intergenerational learning opportunities for native youth, students and the public to inspire a commitment to continue the culture and identity of alaska native people.
Programs: Summer and winter program-plans, develops and administers public programs including: -summer season internships and employment for alaska native youth and culture bearers, summer performances, tours, demonstrations and art activities. -after-school classes for alaska native high school students during the school year. -workshops focused on alaska native cultual organizations to develop educational and cultural initiatives. -media production. -marketing, sales, and gift shop-promotes public programs, educational events, and cultural celebrations. Generates revenue to support programs through admission and workshop fees, facility rental revenue, and gift sales. -developing partnerships with alaska native artists, culture bearers, tourism companies and community agencies.
