Causes: Disaster Aid, Safety Education
Mission: Aip foundation's mission is to provide life-saving traffic safety knowledge and skills to low and middle-income countries with the goal of preventing road crash fatalities and injuries.
Programs: Helmets for kids: provide protective headgear for school children, prevent head trauma injuries on bicycles and mopeds and educate children on the need for safety.
pedestrian safety: to improve pedestrian safety for children in vietnam with support from fedex.
safe routes to school: provide traffic safety books to entire pupils and parents, traffic safety teaching manual to every teacher, five traffic safety poster sets, twenty sets of traffic signs, five mock-up street models for "hands-on" instructions in the class, high visibility "stop" hands to all children to wave while walking or crossing the road, and one training workshop for all school teachers with acknowledgment of the corporate sponsor. Also to set up one "traffic safety corner" for non class activities including street layouts painted on the playground for practical exercise, safety bulletin board, common traffic signs and mural.
