After The Impact Fund Inc

Programs: After the impact fund facilitates custom treatment plans for military veterans and athletes with traumatic injuries. From the first call into atif, the vet or athlete is greeted by a life care manager who takes their information and connects them to our program manager for assessment. Once a custom treatment plan is devised, the life care manager walks them through, even arranging travel to the appropriate treatment provider. Once treatment is completed, atif stays with the vet or athlete via its aftercare program that maintains contact and facilitates additional services as needed. In our first year we have assisted over 100 people. Our family impact program provides outreach and support for the families and caregivers. We have built 2 forums - one for our clients and one for their families. The forums are updated daily with current information about resources and benefits available. We are also developing an "ask the mental health professional" element with a leading mental health expert. We have helped twice as many families as clients, as not all callers end up in our treatment program.
